At Valor Tactical Group, we don’t teach theory — we train for reality. Founded by Edward, a 25-year law enforcement veteran and former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, our mission is to deliver elite firearms and tactical instruction grounded in decades of operational experience.

Our Facilities (Force on Force Shoot House)

Located at 406 Roundtree PI Unit 410, Valor Tactical Group is home to the only privately owned indoor force‑on‑force shoothouse in southern New Mexico — a purpose‑built environment engineered for realistic, scenario‑driven training. Our facility features multiple rooms, hallways, stairways, and fully moveable furniture, allowing instructors to create dynamic layouts that mirror homes, workplaces, churches, and real‑world environments.

We even integrate a full‑size vehicle inside the structure for immersive vehicle‑defense and ambush‑response scenarios. Whether daylight, low‑light, or no‑light, our controlled indoor environment lets students train in conditions that demand clear communication, sound tactics, and decisive action.

Edward Villarreal

FOUNDER/INSTRUCTOR
Edward Villarreal is a Police Officer with the Las Cruces Police Department with over 25 years of law enforcement experience. Full bio under Company page.
Nicole Villarreal

Nicole is the director of our courses at VTG, as well as assisting with our Women’s Defense, Home Defense, and Active Shooter courses.
Eric Villarreal

Eric handles our office support and organization, assisting with courses and acting as the head role player for our training scenarios.
Brandon Villarreal

Brandon has several years of Law-Enforcement experience and was awarded the “Top Gun” achievement in his Police Academy for excellent shooting.
James Gascon

James Gascon is our videographer, filming and editing all of our videos. He is also an army veteran, as well as a competition shooter.
Erick Guerra

Erick Guerra is a retired Police Officer with over 20 years of service, working as Patrol Division, Field Training Officer, and SWAT.
Ralph Monget

Ralph is a retired Police Officer with over 25 years of experience, serving in the LCPD SWAT Team as Team Commander.
