Tactical Trauma
The goal of this class is to better prepare you for fighting through injuries to your person or others that may be encountered during a violent event. Includes the application of tourniquets to yourself and others. Includes movement/cover drills at the live fire range. Buddy cover/drag movements and effective communication drills will be incorporated. We will shoot one handed (strong and Support side). We will also work on weapon loading/unloading and malfunctions clearances all one-handed.
Security Officer Certifications Level 1-3
Security Officer training includes classroom and scenario based training. Students will cover all required training in accordance with NMSA 1978 61-27B-1 through 61-27B-36 and Rules and RegulationsTitle 16 Chapter 48 parts 1 – 7. All instructors are current or retired Police Officers, all with several years of experience as detectives. Critical Decision Making
The goal of this class is to help the student make the appropriate decision(s) under stress. This is a scenario-based class and includes the use of force on force equipment. Scenarios will include home invasion/burglaries, out in public situations, road rage situations, etc. We will work on stress inoculation. This training is conducted under strict safety guidelines and is the closest thing to the real thing (pain penalties included).
Active Shooter Response (Civilians, Children, Churches, Businesses, Schools, Medical Offices, etc)
Pre-planning the life-saving skills and drills necessary to help increase survival during horrific active threat events. Two key factors to preserving life – are how fast the bad person can find victims and the response time of Law Enforcement personnel or Law-Abiding civilians. Run. Hide. Fight. Drills and security measures are discussed, performed, and validated through scenario-based training. This class can be personalized to fit your specific needs.
Active Shooter Response for Law Enforcement
Priority of life. Two key factors that contribute to the loss of life and injuries = time suspect is on scene and response time by LEOs. We will cover the responsibilities of responding LE personnel. Room clearing, hallway movements, proper clearing speed, and formations are a few of the topics covered. This will all be validated through the use of force on force training (scenarios). Pre-planning is crucial.
Officer Down
Officer down drills, self-aid, aid to others (application of tourniquets, pressure dressings). Contact/cover drills. Effective communication. Shooting on the move. One-handed weapon manipulations and shooting. Team movements
Force on Force
We are able to provide your department with scenario-based training. This training can be tailored to help your officers train under stress, thus increasing their chances of survival. We will follow your department needs, guidelines and policies/procedures. All instructors are certified force on force and use of force instructors. Case law says we need to train realistically AND under stress. We provide all of this to your department.
Verbal De-escalation
The goal of verbal de-escalation is to try to keep the situation from turning into a physical use of force. Does this mean we sacrifice officer safety? Absolutely not. This class is intended to help officers understand crisis points and when and where these verbal tactics will work. Instructors are certified “Realistic De-escalation Instructors” through the Force Science Institute. The goal is to increase officer safety through verbal de-escalation, thus lowering uses of force and liability to your department.
